Our high school students are selling 2010 spiritual calendars for $10 each. This is a fundraiser towards their trip to the LCMS Higher Things "Given" Conference in Logan, Utah in June.
CURRENT ALERT!!!! MOUNT OLIVE 7th & 8th graders! This Friday Feb 5th will the Lock-In. Check-in will be from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m at the church that evening. We will probably have pizza first thing, so bring $3.00 - $4.00 to pitch in for pizza. Bring games, movies, etc., to share. We are hoping to have a Scavenger Hunt after pizza and am asking for 3 to 4 parents to help drive & chaperone this part of the evening. We should be done about 9 p.m. and then parents would be free to go. RSVP to Kathy Minch and call if you have any questions. You may bring a friend to the lock-in!! Mount Olive Lutheran youth (& Pastor Grunst) rode our float in the Downtown Holiday Parade Friday evening, November 27, 2009. The theme was: OPEN THE GIFT OF JESUS CHRIST.
"The youth Reformation Party was a success!!! We had 28 youth attend from Mount Olive and Trinity Lutheran Churches. The Corn Maize stumped some of us (adults)! A BIG thank-you to Sheryl and Clayton from Trinity for providing the chili and all of the fixin's!" |
